About Luis Sanchez-Ramos

Luis Sanchez-Ramos, M.D., FACOG, is a University of Florida professor of obstetrics and gynecology, and a board-certified maternal-fetal medicine physician at UF Health in Jacksonville. Dr. Sanchez-Ramos received his medical degree from the Universidad Autónoma de Santo Domingo in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic (UASD) and La Universidad del Zulia (LUZ) in Maracaibo, Venezuela. He completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency and maternal-fetal medicine fellowship at the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta, Georgia and at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. He specializes in obstetric ultrasound, prenatal diagnosis, hypertensive disorders in pregnancy and genetics. He is Deputy Editor of the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology
